Captain's Quarters Bed & Biscuit Review

Richard (Capt. Dick) and Ruby (Miss Ruby) Collins, and their daughter Polly, welcome guests with an enthusiasm that is as genuine as their passion for Beaufort and Carteret County, an area Dick first came to know during his years as a Navy pilot in World War II. Each morning, along with a weather report, the captain serves breakfast, which includes fresh biscuits his wife and daughter make from an old family recipe. Antiques, most of them family heirlooms, fill the 19th-century home that the family restored. Reading material and reading lights are just two of the thoughtful touches you'll find.
