Caprice Bistro

Fodor's Review:

White-lace curtains at the windows, tables dressed in white, and plain white plates serve as an unobtrusive backdrop for the food here, which is all French, all the time. Chef Thierry is proud of his "solid bistro cooking"—onion soup, pommes frites (fries) served with aioli, classic steak au poivre, and crisped duck confit. The wine list has American labels as well as French. Although there's no smoking allowed downstairs, you can smoke at the art-filled bar after 10 PM; it stays open until 2 AM.
