Sipping coffee supplied by the efficient staff, patrons waiting to be seated contemplate what to order this time—malted pancakes? Eggs Benedict? A country ham sandwich? Cinnamon-raisin-sourdough French toast? Shrimp and grits? Though the lunch menu is perfectly respectable, breakfast (served all day) is what packs 'em in at Causeway, which is less than ¼ mi from the bridge separating Wilmington from Wrightsville Beach Island.

I go there at least once a week for breakfast. The Neptune Benedict is delicious. (Eggs Benedict with crab meat)
The breakfast gravy is the best and they use smoked sausage links for the sausage biscuit instead of pattied sausage....great flavor.
Even with a crowd I am usually in, served, and paid within 30 minutes

This place should be closed down. We arrived on a saturday afternoon. Was seated at the only clean table in the place. All the other tables had not been touched after people left. Service was terrible, staff sat at the counter and never bothered with us. Had rotten food in the salads, we split a large combo seafood and never got a second plate after constantly asking for one. Had to beg for some cocktail sauce for the seafood. Staff only came to our table once, so we never got new drinks or was checked on again. When asked how we liked it at check out, i politely told them about the mail and service. All i got back was thanks and have a nice day. Look elsewhere before you dine here.

Took our daughter there for lunch before leaving on Sunday after a perfect weekend. Paitently waited 45 mins. for a table in the cold outside. Once inside the crowded room, we ordered and patiently waited another 45 mins. for a lunch that came out cold and should have been hot. The staff was rude and refused to serve us after we told them the sandich was missing the cheese and the food was cold. After 1 1/2 hrs in just to get the food, we were hungry and tried to eat it. They didn't charge us for the meal, but they could have handled the situation very differently. They didn't offer to warm anything up, and after waiting so long to get it, one would think it would be hot! Not worth the wait!
