Inn at the Bryant House

Fodor's Review:

One block east of U.S. 1, this charming B&B was originally built in 1913. All the guest rooms are individually decorated; some have romantic canopy beds. The inn has golf packages and occasionally stages murder mystery dinners. Pros: friendly and accommodating staff; more affordable than inns in Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Cons: quiet location means little nightlife action.
