Pine Crest Inn

Fodor's Review:

Chintz and mahogany fill the rooms of this slightly faded gem. The chefs whip up meals reminiscent of Sunday supper: homemade soups, fresh fish dishes, and the house specialty, a 22-ounce pork chop. Mr. B's Lounge is one of the liveliest nightspots in town. Guests have golf and tennis privileges at local clubs. Pros: restaurant gets high marks, and the bar's casual atmosphere is a contrast to the more formal settings at most area hotels. Cons: nonsmokers note that smoking is allowed in the bar; if you want a large room, request one, as some are small.
