Fodor's Review:

North Carolina's most successful artist is best known for his landscapes of the rural South, especially his native Lexington. Many of his original paintings, done in a highly detailed "American Realist" style, are exhibited in this gallery about 20 mi from Winston-Salem. You'll also find his personal collections: canoes, decoys, quilts.
