This 30-year-old eatery, tucked into an expansive fine-foods shop, uses those top-notch ingredients for such dishes as mustard-glaze salmon and goat-cheese risotto. There's plenty of comfortable seating around the open kitchen, but the spacious courtyard, filled with plants and fountains, is why people stand in line. The all-day Sunday brunch is a big draw; French toast stuffed with mascarpone and strawberries is popular, as are poached eggs and crabmeat on a buttermilk biscuit.

This used to be, by far, me and my husband's favorite place to go for a special dinner. This was when it was located in the old location, where Trader Joe's is now. The outdoor patio was one of the most quaint, intimate, romantic and beautiful settings I've ever been to (restaurant-wise!). The food was amazing and ambiance couldn't be beat. Then they moved to the mall. Everything went downhill from there. The outdoor patio feels cold and full of concrete. And diners very aware they are right next to a big parking lot. The food is still good, but I was so disappointed with the loss of what they had created at the old location that I can't go back anymore. The old location was almost magical, and this one is...well, not. In all fairness, I have not been back for a couple of years now, so things might have changed...
