Fodor's Review:

Here you can ride in a flying machine, sail a radio-controlled boat on an outdoor pond, view artifacts from space missions, and ride a train through a wildlife sanctuary. The nature center contains such animals as black bears, red wolves, and lemurs. The three-story Magic Wings Butterfly House lets you walk among tropical species in a rain-forest conservatory. In the Insectarium you can see and hear live insects under high magnification and amplification.

  • Cost: Museum $10.85, train ride $2
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5. Closed Mon. Sept.-Dec.
