This beautifully preserved example of Greek revival architecture from 1840 once housed all the functions of state government. Today it's part museum, part executive offices. Under its domed rotunda is a copy of Antonio Canova's statue of George Washington depicted as a Roman general. Guided tours are given Saturday starting at 11 and 2.
