Guilford Courthouse National Military Park

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park Review

Established in 1917, the park has more than 200 acres with wooded hiking trails. It memorializes one of the earliest events in the area's recorded history and a pivotal moment in the life of the colonies. On March 15, 1781, the Battle of Guilford Courthouse so weakened British troops that they surrendered seven months later at Yorktown.
