Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge Review
On 2,000 acres, this beautiful and stately resort hotel is the best of the best when it comes to luxury in Charlotte. Located outside the city center, it seems tailor-made for a getaway, with a golf course (and even a golf school), spa, and two pools. The spacious guest rooms have classic furniture and color schemes of gold, cream, and sage. You can choose a sunset view or golf view. The Lodge, designed for corporate retreats, has a great room with a fireplace and a porch with rocking chairs.
