Oakwood Inn Review
This 1871 Victorian B&B, one of the first to be built in what is now the Oakwood Historic District, is on the National Register of Historic Places; each of its individually decorated rooms has a working fireplace, high ceilings, and walls with rich, solid colors. Non-alcoholic drinks and homemade cookies are always on hand, so guests can enjoy refreshments on the front porch overlooking a yard filled with irises, star magnolias, and a vegetable garden that provides produce for the inn's hot breakfasts.
