Fodor's Review

This is the place for down-home Southern cooking with an uptown twist. Chef Brian Sonoskus delivers a lot more than grits, with dishes like Stroganoff, Y'all and mountain trout with spinach beurre blanc. Breakfast is served anytime. The atmosphere is noisy and a little funky, though the eatery was remodeled in 2014. There's some sidewalk seating and often a line. Kids are welcome. A suburban location on Hendersonville Road in South Asheville has a similar menu, with a little more Southern kitsch in the decor.
