Fodor's Review

Hip and artsy, the Junction is the quintessential River Arts District dinner spot. With exposed ducts and concrete floors, the main dining space looks industrial, but it's softened by original art on the walls. The noise level can be high, though there's quieter dining on the patio. Chefs in the open kitchen create locally sourced dishes, often with a Southern twist, such as sweet tea–brined fried chicken on braised collards. The cocktail menu is innovative, with unusual mixtures of premium liquors, herbs, and freshly squeezed juices.
