The small, historic house sits beside a lock of the old Delaware and Hudson Canal in the center of High Falls. Across the street is the highly regarded DePuy Canal House restaurant, and quirky antiques and gift shops are a few doors away. In the rooms, pale walls dilute flowery bedspreads and curtains. The Chef's Quarters suite, under the eaves, has a kitchenette, dining area, and laundry facilities. Two additional suites are across the street in a building next to the Canal House. One has a full kitchen and a screened-in porch.
