Plumbush Inn Review
The 19th-century Victorian inn a short hop from the village was once the home of a U.S.-born marquess. The rooms, commodious and serviceable, overlook the gardens. Vaulted ceilings and velvet furnishings bedeck the largest room, which is billed as a suite. An armchair-filled common parlor has a TV and a pay phone. The landscaped grounds often host weddings on weekends. The inn's restaurant is warmed by fireplaces.
