Hudson Valley Sights

Dia:Beacon

Dia:Beacon Review

Works by some of the biggest names in modern art from the 1960s to today fill this former Nabisco printing plant on the bank of the Hudson River. Highlights include Andy Warhol's Shadows, which includes several canvases, and works by minimalist icons Robert Ryman and Agnes Martin. Expansive spaces and luxuriant light make the nearly 300,000-square-foot building—on 34 acres with artistic landscaping—an experience in itself. If you don't know much about modern art, take the tour to gain some context.
