The 1889 stone castle (with a 2004 expansion) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has a tower. These are plush digs. Many of the rooms in the original castle structure have four-poster beds, lake-view balconies, beautiful bamboo and maple woodwork, and bronze fireplaces. The newer rooms, in what's called the Vinifera Inn, have king-size beds, gas fireplaces, CD players, two-person showers, and honor bars. Edgar's ($$$-$$$$), the more formal restaurant, features steak and veal dishes. The Stonecutter's Lounge serves sandwiches, potato skins, and other pub fare. The property includes a wine-tasting room and a wine and gift shop.
