As you pull into the gravel driveway and climb the steps of this 1850s Victorian, visions of Grandma's house dance in your head. Crushed velvet and floral paper cover the walls, and period antiques grace dark rooms. Diners come from miles around to savor such French dishes as cotriade bretonne (fish stew), rack of lamb, and Black Angus steak with peppercorn-cognac cream sauce, served in formal surroundings with a glowing fireplace.
