Washington Irving Inn Review

This 1890 inn, formerly a summer home for New York's high society, was named the 2007 B&B of the Year by the New York State Hospitality Association. Many original architectural details—including lustrous dark-wood paneling, stained-glass windows, built-in bookcases, and carved fireplace mantels—adorn the rooms. Guest rooms contain antiques; some have four-poster beds and in-room hot tubs, and three have private balconies. Owner Stefania Jozic oversees the details.
