The Wild Rose Inn Review
Beyond a white picket fence and a pleasant amble from central Woodstock is this rose-themed 1898 Victorian. Most rooms are draped in damask and organza swags and bedding. A dramatic, antique walnut-burl bed takes center stage in the Honeysuckle Rose Suite, which has a private entrance. The Sweetheart Room is the smallest of the accommodations, but the others are large; all have hot tubs. Complimentary brandy, truffles, and fruit add to the sweetness, and the Continental breakfast is substantial.
