Fairlawn Inn Review

You can see the mountains from your room at this Queen Anne Victorian, ½ mi from the Hunter resort and 2 mi from North-South Lake. Modern-day amenities join original oil paintings, stained-glass windows, antiques, paneling, parquet floors, and wood carvings to create a seamless whole. The pristine rooms have wrought-iron, four-poster, carved-wood, or brass queen beds; some bathrooms have claw-foot tubs and antique dressing tables. Victorian touches are used throughout. Owner Chuck Tomajko sets out bottled water, carbonated drinks, snack baskets, and cookie jars.
