Hidden in a meadow of wildflowers several hundred yards from the quiet main road 2 mi west of Woodstock center, this bed-and-breakfast offers peaceful seclusion. The house includes paintings by Woodstock artist Jo Cantine, who originally lived here. Guest rooms keep frills to a minimum, instead offering simple luxuries such as 300-thread-count sateen sheets, mountain views, a porch or deck, and a private entrance. Breakfast is lavish and consists of organic fare.
