Scenic Drives for North Adirondacks
Route 28N between North Creek and Long Lake and Route 73 between Lake Placid and Keene offer some of the best mountain views. For river scenery, Routes 86 and 9N from Lake Placid to Keeseville follow the Ausable River and its West Branch much of the way.
