Blue Mountain Lake
At the edge of Blue Mountain Lake, this hamlet is home to only a few hundred people. Outdoors lovers come to the area, the geographic heart of Adirondack Park, for the boating, fishing (largemouth bass, lake trout, brook trout, and whitefish), and the excellent hiking trails. Two major attractions, the Adirondack Museum and the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, have made Blue Mountain Lake a regional cultural hub.
