Fodor's Review

This innovative Brooklyn performance space hosts boundary-stretching and imaginative works from all over; past hits have included the National Theatre of Scotland's Black Watch, a play about soldiers in the Iraq War; a woman-only production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar set in prison; a song cycle starring Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs; Noël Coward's Brief Encounter; and Mies Julie, an adaptation of Strindberg's Miss Julie set in postapartheid South Africa.
