Gwynnett St.

Gwynnett St. Review

Named for an erstwhile 19th-century street that ran through Williamsburg, connecting the neighborhood to other parts of Brooklyn, Gwynette St. has been the darling of New York restaurant critics since the ovens were fired up in late 2011, and the popularity has not waned since. And why should it? The fare is New American, ordered as either small or large plates, and along the lines of chicken paired with ginger, liver, and pear or halibut with roasted pine nuts. Factor in a killer cocktail list and an affordable but nicely selected wine list and you have all the makings of an excellent dinner.
