Cafe Mogador

Cafe Mogador Review

An East Village dining institution if there ever was one, Cafe Mogador is a frequent stop for locals and, for some, a hip place to be seen. Since 1983, the restaurant has been serving above-average Morrocan cuisine in a date-friendly candlelight atmosphere. Finish off that creamy hummus before the chicken tagine arrives, nurse that glass of Italian wine, and ponder the fact that most of the people around you were 3-feet tall when this family-run restaurant first fired up its couscous-cooking burners.
