Carnegie Hall

Fodor's Review:

Carnegie Hall is one of the best venues—anywhere—to hear classical music. The world's top orchestras sound so good because of the incomparable acoustics of the fabulously steep Stern Auditorium. So do smaller ensembles and soloists such as sopranos Renée Fleming and Deborah Voight. A noted roster of Family Concerts are also part of Carnegie's programming. The subterranean Zankel Hall, with equally excellent acoustics, attracts performers such as the Kronos Quartet, Nick Lowe, and Youssou N'Dour. Many young talents make their New York debuts in the Weill Recital Hall.
