A row of lawn jockeys welcomes you to this former speakeasy, celebrated for attracting famous writers and movie stars through most of the past century. Privilege and whimsy are mixed together here: the well-dressed order excellent American cuisine in the lively Bar Room and enjoy drinks next to a roaring fire in the cozy front lounge.
