Hotel Giraffe Review

A consistent property with friendly service, large rooms, and lots of repeat customers (particularly business travelers) Hotel Giraffe is often noted for its nightly complimentary wine-and-cheese reception. The style is Art Deco, right down to the balcony rooms' red-velvet armchairs and French doors, which open onto private Juliet balconies from which you can survey Park Avenue. Recent upgrades include flat-screen televisions, Egyptian cotton sheets, and iPod docks. Be sure to take time to relax at the open-air Rooftop Garden bar, which is open for drinks in the warmer months, although the garden is open to guests year-round. The civilized service here includes complimentary continental breakfast and all-day coffee and refreshments.
