The Hilton Times Square sits atop a 335,000-square-foot retail and entertainment zone on a bustling section of 42nd Street that includes a 25-theater movie megaplex and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. The building has a handsome Mondrian-inspired facade, though the room decor has a case of the chain hotel blahs. Nonetheless, the rooms are comfortable and larger than many in the city, with amenities such as in-room coffeemakers and bathrobes, though charges for Internet access are staggering. The hotel is efficiently run and the staff is pleasant. Guest rooms are above the 21st floor, affording excellent views of Times Square and Midtown while keeping noise at bay. Restaurant Above is off the "sky lobby" on the 21st floor. Pros: lovely views from restaurant; immediate access to entertainment; convenient to public transportation. Cons: impersonal feel; nickel-and-dime charges; overpriced food and drink.

Love this hotel and the room views are really nice. Stayed at this location 3 times and had great experiences all three times. Close to Times Square and all the sights. Could lay in bed and see the Empire State Bldg. Nice and clean.

Never have I seen such poor customer service.
I have stayed at Hilton many times for business and never had to ask for a change of service.
I will never recommend this chain to anyone again.
Even being a gold member they would not change the date of reservation. As a scientist, trainings are mostly subject to change due to personnel's schedule at a major hospital such as Mt Sinai.
You would think a hotel of this prestige and name would be top for customer service.
They have lost one member and anyone else who heeds my advice.

The lobby is great. Has a great view of Times Sq and the river. Nice place for a glass of wine in the evening and good breakfast. Room was great. On the 30th floor we couldn't hear the sound of construction next door.
