Ink48 Review

If you want convenience to central Midtown but some remove from the hustle and bustle (not to mention a breathtaking rooftop space), this Kimpton property is an excellent option. Spacious, reasonably priced rooms, expansive views, a sceney rooftop bar and pool, and great service make up for a long three-avenue walk from the nearest subway—though the hotel is within range of Hell's Kitchen's increasing number of dining, nightlife, and shopping options. Rooms are accented in shades of deep red, with spacious bathrooms featuring eco-friendly bath products. Some suites have soaking tubs that are cheekily located in the bedrooms themselves. Though windows are double-paned, some street noise can intrude from the nearby West Side Highway, especially on lower floors.

    Great place to stay!

My boyfriend and I were in NYC last weekend to see a show. We wanted a place that was conveniently located. Ink 48 is a great location since we wanted to walk to most places. The room was nicely decorated and also offered a wonderful view of the city. Bathroom was HUGE which is not the norm in NYC hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

    Very neat hotel!

We recently attended a party hosted by family at this hotel's rooftop terrace. As we knew it would be a late night, we decided to book at the hotel and had a great experience. The neighborhood is pretty funky and neat, and the hotel mimics it. I think Kimpton hotels have it down for service and originality and Ink48 is consistent with that. If I needed to be in this part of the city again, I would definitely book here.
