Transit Museum

Fodor's Review:

Step down into a 1930's subway station where you'll find more than 60,000 square feet devoted to the history of public transportation. Interact with the collection of vintage trains and turnstiles, sit behind the wheel of city buses, and laugh over old advertisements and signs. The gift store is a treasure trove of NYC-theme souvenirs to bring home.

  • Cost: $5
