'inoteca Review

The Italian terms on the menu may be unfamiliar (tramezzini just means soft bread sandwiches) but the food is not daunting in the least—this is real Italian comfort food. An Italian small-plates concept with an excellent by-the-glass wine list, this rustic eatery is perpetually packed. (Reservations are accepted for parties of six or more.) Come for cheese and charcuterie plates, the famous truffled egg toast, and delicious paninis filled with cured meat, runny cheeses, and hot peppers. Menu staples include fresh salads and creative entrées like linguine with sea urchin, shrimp, and fennel, as well as an unctuous Wagyu beef sandwich with horseradish and arugula.
