Tom's Restaurant

Tom's Restaurant Review

Fans of Suzanne Vega may want to make a pilgrimage to this diner, as the crooner supposedly named her most popular song after it (for the record, there's some dispute that this is the place). Whatever the case, for friendly service and great old-school fare—especially the excellent fluffy lemon-ricotta pancakes served with homemade flavored butters—head three blocks north of the Brooklyn Museum to this family-owned restaurant, which opened in 1936. Expect long lines on weekends.
