Fodor's Review

This enterprising modern gallery has two large Chelsea branches (the other is at 522 West 21st Street, between 10th and 11th avenues) and a third on the Upper East Side, as well as nine more outposts in cities around the world. Perhaps the most powerful dealer in the business, Gagosian Gallery shows works by heavy hitters such as Pablo Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat, sculptor Richard Serra, and the late pop-art icon Roy Lichtenstein.
