Fodor's Review

A rarity in Manhattan, this pretty, brick-covered street—really a glorified alley—is lined on one side with the former stables of the houses on "the Row," as it's known, on Washington Square North. Although the street is private and owned by New York University, which uses many of the stables for offices, it's open to pedestrian traffic from 7 am through 11 pm.
