At the brick neo-Victorian boathouse on the park's 18-acre lake, you can rent a dinghy, take a ride in an authentic Venetian gondola, or pedal off on a rented bicycle.

  • Cost: Boat rental $10 per hr ($30 deposit); $30 per half-hr for gondola rides; bicycle rental $9-$15 per hr, deposit required
  • Open: Boats and bikes available Mar.-Oct., daily 10-6, weather permitting. Call for gondolier's schedule
  • Subway: Subway: 6 to 77th St.
