$$-$$$, Seafood, Upper West Side
Fodor's Review:
Known for its expansive raw bar, this stylish seafood spot is consistently packed with couples who look grateful that the babysitter didn't cancel. The drinks are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the fish is impeccably fresh. Best bets beyond the great raw bar are the selection of sushi rolls and simple grilled entrées, such as tuna, salmon, and swordfish, although there are also more elaborate creations, like coconut-lemongrass steamed lobster and shrimp with soba noodle salad and curry broth. After all that lightness, go ahead and finish with a caramelized banana ice cream tower in a hazelnut shell with toasted marshmallow sauce.
