Fodor's Review:

In a former art-deco movie house in Chelsea, the 500-seat JoyceTheater has superb sight lines and presents a full spectrum of contemporary dance. The buoyant Pilobolus ( www.pilobolus.org, Ballet Hispanico (www.ballethispanico.org, and Parsons Dance Company (www.parsonsdance.org as well as the unforgettable cross-dressing Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (www.trockadero.org are regulars on the lineup. Their Joyce SoHo location (155 Mercer St., between Houston and Prince Sts., SoHo, 10013. 212/431-9233. www.joyce.org. Subway: R, W to Prince St.; B, D, F, V to Broadway/Lafayette St.) showcases more experimental work.
