Fodor's Review

On the outside it looks like any other raised ranch circa 1975. Inside, however, rooms are up-to-date with sleek, contemporary maple furniture, stainless-steel headboards, lamps, and other details. Plump white duvets, soft sheets, and Aveda bath goodies are among the comforts. The grounds are well manicured, and the pool seems to stretch on for an eternity.

It's a MOTEL!!!

This place is an old motel that received a cheap update. Cheap looking furniture, cheap carpets, tiny TV. I felt like I was in a college dorm. The Fodor's description is very embellished. Yeah... there is a mini-bar but it is barely stocked. The location is terrible - it is outside of Southampton village and far from everything.

Dreamy beds & celebrities..what more could you want in the hamptons?

I spent the weekend at the Atlantic over the summer and I must say the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I didn't want to get up in the morning!! Also while I was there they were having a movie premier for Uptown Girls with Britney Murphy which was really exciting. There were celebrities everywhere! I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone coming to the Hamptons for the weekend!

it s a motel

we decided for a hamptons week end at the last minute and this was the only place available. it s easy to understand why, since it s an overpriced motel with pretense.
