Boardwalk
Boardwalk Review
The 2-mi boardwalk, overlooking a beautiful stretch of Atlantic Ocean beach, is the heart of the community. It was constructed in the early 1900s with the help of elephants from Coney Island's Dreamland Park. The pachyderms pulled materials for the boardwalk's pilings along what is known today as Sunrise Highway. You can hear live music throughout summer; on weekends, vendors and entertainers attract lively crowds.
