The food at this German restaurant is well worth the trip to Floral Park, 2 mi west of Garden City. Beer steins and curios lend a traditional European spirit to the space. The menu includes sauerbraten, pot roast with gingersnap gravy, Wiener schnitzel, beef roulade with spaetzle, Long Island duckling, and seafood delicacies. Long Islanders come here to get their German-food fix, so reservations are essential on weekends.
