Fodor's Review

Every bedroom in this shingle-covered colonial has antique cast-iron beds and country pine furniture. Each shabby chic room also seems to be filled with yard upon yard of fabric: generous floral table covers and drapes, white duvets, and quilted spreads. Whether the gardens were inspired by the guest-room fabrics or the fabrics were chosen to mirror the gardens is hard to know.

A Great Bed and Breakfast in Southampton.

I discovered this charming B&B in southampton a few years ago and have taken several friends with me each time. We have made it our home in the hamptons and love the pool, secluded behind the hedges and the garden is lovely. A delightful stay, highly recommended, reservations however a must!

Great US Open Week!!

We spent one week at the Mainstay this year and were treated like royalty. The service was more than we expected and the hospitality complete. Perfect weather and a great stay in a great b&b in the Hamptons

Total country charm and tranquility

Our three night weekend was perfect. The late arrival was no problem for the innkeeper, Elizabeth, and the breakfast with waffles done in their relaxed dining room with coffee smells wafting up to our overstuffed antique iron bed made us feel like we were at our grammas house. This was the perfect time of year for the garden walk.
