There's an upscale yet homey country feel to this stately 1795 clapboard inn within walking distance of the village center, and it's operated by the same family that owns the Loaves & Fishes food shop in Sagaponack. Beautiful antique dressers and mirrors decorate the rooms, and many of them have four-poster beds. An expansion project will provide greater capacity, in the same cozy style, for 2015. The sumptuous English breakfast, served in the dining room or on the
veranda, is one of the biggest treats here.
