Fodor's Review:

This tranquil complex in the center of Quogue village consists of a house from the 18th century, another from the 19th century right across the road, and private cottages. Ralph Lauren designers supervised the interior scheme here, and each comfortable, antiques-filled room is different. The beach is just minutes away. The inn's restaurant ($$-$$$$; reservations essential) has a hint of the antebellum South about it. The chef is known for such innovative dishes as apple-and-Gorgonzola salad, seared ahi tuna, and tangy lemon-lobster risotto.
