Orient Beach State Park

Fodor's Review:

The park occupies a tendril of land that extends southward from Orient Point and stretches west, surrounded by Gardiner's Bay on its south side and Orient Harbor and Long Beach Bay on its north side. The beach nestles beside a waterfront forest. In addition to swimming (from late June to early September), you may fish, picnic, hike, and bike here.

  • Cost: Parking $7 (Memorial Day-Labor Day)
  • Open: Daily sunrise-sunset
