Steph's Stuff has a mind-boggling and absolutely delightful assortment of toys and other whimsical goodies for kids.

While Steph's Stuff does indeed have a great selection of toys, the prices charged are about double what they should be, and the attitude of the owner, if that's who she was, was ridiculous. I purchased three small toys for my sons, similar to things I'd bought them before, that usually cost about ten dollars each. My total was over fifty dollars. Not wanting to create a scene with my son, I sucked it up.
When checking out, the pinch-lipped woman behind the counter, whose attitude I could only describe as icy, insisted I sign for the purchase with a half-empty child's Kookie Pen. I had trouble getting it to work and asked for another pen - even though there was one sitting in front of her, she refused to let me use it! I manfully forged ahead and scribbled my signature on the CC bill.
Brick & mortar retailers hammer the nails in their own coffins with behavior like this. This just can't compete with the prices & selections available from online retailers.
