Fort Pond Bay Park

  • Address: End of Navy Rd., off 2nd House Rd., Montauk, NY | Map It

Fodor's Review:

Sitting at the western end of Fort Pond Bay, near Rocky Point, this park is perfect for picnics and beachcombing, but not suitable for swimming. You can comb the shore for shells or walk to the end of the sturdy pier and do some fishing. There are shorefront trails that tie into the Hither Woods trail system, a parking lot (follow Navy Road to the end), and portable bathrooms. A resident permit is required for parking.

  • Cost: Free
  • Open: Daily dawn-dusk
